The Federation of Spine Associations mission is to provide a forum for component spine societies to present high quality educational, multi-disciplinary content on all aspects of spinal cord injury and disease.
Established in 1987, FOSA is comprised of members of four organizations, the American Spinal Injury Association (ASIA), the Cervical Spine Research Society (CSRS), the North American Spine Society (NASS) and the Scoliosis Research Society (SRS). Rather than being member-driven the organization is society driven and two representatives from each group serve on the Executive Committee. The association presents a one day educational program during the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Specialty Day.
FOSA is based in Rosemont, Illinois and is a 501(c)3 organization.
The Federation of Spine Associations will provide a forum for component spine societies to present high quality educational content on all aspects of spinal disorders.
