CSRS Resident & Fellow Annual Meeting Scholarship Program

The Cervical Spine Research Society (CSRS) is seeking senior orthopedic and/or neurosurgery residents and spine fellows, with a strong interest in pursuing cervical spine research, to apply for a meeting scholarship for the Annual Meeting and Instructional Course.

Individuals that can obtain institutional funding or funding from their training program for the meeting should not apply.

Scholarship recipients and complimentary meeting registration recipients will be expected to attend all scientific portions of the meeting, starting with the Instructional Course on Wednesday, December 3 at 8:30 am through the conclusion of the Annual Meeting on Saturday, December 6 at 11:00 am.

 

Timeline:

• Applications accepted July 1-31, 2025
• Decisions will be announced end of August

Applicant Eligibility:

• A senior orthopedic/neurosurgery resident or a fellow in an orthopedic or spine fellowship at an institution based in the United States
• Priority given to those directly involved in/interested in cervical spine research or cervical spine care

Application Requirements:

• Personal statement including your interests and why you would like to attend the CSRS Annual Meeting in 250 words.
• Fellowship or training program director letter of recommendation including the confirmation that they will allow you to attend the meeting in its entirety. (PDF format)
• CV (PDF format)
• Applicants must be US based and be either from a ACGME or CAST accredited program or have a fellowship secured with a CSRS active member

Hotel and Annual Meeting & ICL Meeting Registration Scholarships:

• Hotel accommodations (Tuesday - Friday nights)
• Complimentary meeting registrations to the Annual Meeting & Instructional Course
• Invitation to the Resident & Fellow gathering Wednesday evening, sponsored in part by Medtronic
