CSRS Annual Meeting Scholarships
CSRS will fund travel scholarships (up to $1,500 each) and complimentary annual meeting registration to accepted applicants.
Applicant Eligibility:
Candidates should be North American senior orthopedic and/or neurosurgery residents or spine fellows with a strong interest in pursuing cervical spine research or board-eligible or board-certified orthopedic or neurosurgical attending physicians no more than five years into their practice.
Residents and fellows must be from an ACGME or CAST accredited program or have a fellowship secured with a CSRS active member.
Attending surgeons must have completed an ACGME or CAST accredited program or a fellowship with a CSRS active or senior member.
Awards:
- Up to $1,500 reimbursement for accommodations booked in the official CSRS hotel block and/or airfare or mileage reimbursement for travel to Austin. (Please note that CSRS will only reimburse for hotel within the CSRS room block.)
- Complimentary meeting registration to the Annual Meeting
Timeline:
- Applications accepted July 22 – August 31, 2026
- Decisions will be announced in late September
Application Requirements:
- Personal statement including your interests and why you would like to attend the CSRS Annual Meeting in 250 words.
- CV
- Residents/Fellows must submit a letter of recommendation from fellowship or training program director including the confirmation that they will allow you to attend the meeting in its entirety.
