The Kaiser Permanante Spine Surgery Registry encompasses data from surgical outcomes from EHR of over 12 million members utilizing dozens of spine surgeon participation to generate large retrospective analyses. Our most recent registry study shows that there is no difference in re-operation rates in patients undergoing posterior cervical spinal fusion surgery due to non-union regardless of crossing, or not crossing the cervicothoracic junction in cephalad constructs ending at C3.
