CSRS Resident & Fellow Annual Meeting Scholarship Program
The Cervical Spine Research Society (CSRS) is seeking senior orthopedic and/or neurosurgery residents and spine fellows, with a strong interest in pursuing cervical spine research, to apply for a meeting scholarship for the Annual Meeting and Instructional Course.
Individuals that can obtain institutional funding or funding from their training program for the meeting should not apply.
Scholarship recipients and complimentary meeting registration recipients will be expected to attend all scientific portions of the meeting, starting with the Instructional Course on Wednesday, December 11 at 8:30 am through the conclusion of the Annual Meeting on Saturday, December 14 at 12:15 pm.
Applications are now closed. Notices were sent via email to all applicants on 9/5/2024.
Timeline:
- Applications accepted July 1-31, 2024
- Decisions will be announced in early September
Applicant Eligibility:
- A senior orthopedic/neurosurgery resident or a fellow in an orthopedic or spine fellowship at an institution based in the United States
- Priority given to those directly involved in/interested in cervical spine research or cervical spine care
- DEI candidates are encouraged to apply as two scholarships are reserved for DEI applicants
Application Requirements:
- Personal statement including your interests and why you would like to attend the CSRS Annual Meeting in 250 words.
- Fellowship or training program director letter of recommendation including the confirmation that they will allow you to attend the meeting in its entirety. (PDF format)
